best ammo?

What is the best ammo to shoot out of my mini 30? for hunting deere and other game?

Nevermind, I started to give advice about using a mini 14 for hunting deer. woops.

Both Remington and Federal make a 7.62x39 soft point round, that would be my suggestion.... but I'm sure others have much better.

Whatever ammo you use I am sure the farmer that owns the deere(as in John Deere tractor) will be unhappy with you. :wink:
Seroiusly just be sure to use a soft point bullet such as rem or fed or make your own ammo. I use Hornady 123gr SP bullets and AA1680 powder. Shoots well for me and would work on DEER(4 legged type) :idea:
