I like tinkering with reloading for my Ruger No. 1 in .458 Win Mag.

Bought some 450gr Barnes Banded Solids. Using Barnes data loaded some rounds with 76gr of H335 yesterday.

Barnes data suggests 2307fps/5318 ft lbs with these rock hard slugs. Expensive plinkers.

No Cape Buffalos let alone T-Rexs in the neighborhood, so just punch paper targets and blow up some cinder blocks. Don

If there like my 375hh solids. They make football size rocks into gravel. Well, really there will be a few larger pieces that need to be shot again if you really want all gravel.
