Looking for info on the convertible Bearcat. History, what to look for. Price? Thanks.

Made in 1993 (about 1500 of them)
Magnum cylinders were recalled.
A nice example with a box and papers today will fetch in the neighborhood of about $1200

I have one to sell if you are interested. ANIB with SC but the I have to say the price is considerably higher than $1,200....paid more than that!
PM me if interested

Do you want it to shoot or collect? For a shooter, I'd want adjustable sights and stainless. Maybe even a shop keeper. You can have a cylinder reamed. Just saying.

The Shopkeeper has been turned into a .22WMR by Dave Clements. I have also found that the cylinder from the stainless above it fits the Shopkeeper so I have in effect a 'convertible' until I can get another cylinder.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Nice set, neat that they can both use the same cylinders, for the ultimate convertible.
