Bearcat barrel swap?

This is a "shot in the dark", probably won't work but thought I'd ask the experts. Could I swap the barrel from a NM S6 into a Super BC? I'm gonna put a 9.5" on the S6 and would like to have the old 5.5" put in the BC....Wishful thinking? TIA, Dennis

no, the barrel stub ( threaded end) is far too small for the bearcat , and the barrel as well as the stub on the Single Six would really be HUGE on the frame itself...........could recut the threads and possibly turn down the barrel a bit to make it more accomodating....lots of work, but enough money and anything is possible..................
