Actually I heard about that one on the radio earlier. I just hadn't had time to look up the article. I didn't read it but I am concerned for the lady (I believe) that shot the bear initially and the neighbor who had to finish it..

The bears are protected, and it must be in defense of a life as I understand it. Depends on how F&W make their determination. Sounds to me like it was, but there are a lot of tree huggers up here too.

That profiling has to go. Every 2 year old grizzly is now going to fear for their lives. :mrgreen: Actually 2 year old male bears( Black, Griz or Polar) are hormonal, not adept at feeding themselves, and looking for a niche can be trouble. I recommend this lady learn how to use her guns more effectively. Might need to hone those parenting skills too.

Dumb laws heck a Grizzly is a predator no similarity to Yogi and Booboo.
When a Griz threatens Life or Livestock even property dispatch the darn thing.
Common sense should prevail. ps
