Are Ruger MK II parts interchangeable with each other?

This question may have been asked before, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. The question is: Can the bolt, receiver, and lower frame be interchanged among MK II's? (Excluding the 22/45 models.) That is, could I buy a MK II upper/barrel and swap it out from one of the barrels on my current MK II's.
Reason I ask is that I am considering buying a 4.5" standard barrel to try on one of my MKIIs. (This one happens to be one of the "Anniversary" barrels but only difference I think is that the rear is not tapered to grab the bolt.)
Will the gun function properly, etc.?
I don't believe Ruger ever fitted the parts of their MK II's per se, but thought I would ask.
Thanks

you should have little or no problems switching within "like" model. its as you say, the 22/45 ( polymer frame guns), then modifications need to be done to the 'latching' features, then you may screw it up when time to go back to the "original" gun.we've substituted various bolts, etc , uppers also, with no issues.....changing barrels on the other hand ( removing from the tube/receiver) requires proper tooling/jigs, wrenches, etc and should be done by a professional...............otherwise, mix and match, seen some NICE "put togethers" over the years.........same with cutting down some of the LONG ( 10 inch) barrels to about ANY shorter length you can think of..........

Confirming what Ruger Guy said, jut bought receiver/barrel off the web, and fitted it to an old MK II frame. Gun is now off to Clark Guns to have them work some magic on it.

Years ago an outfit called AMT (Arcadia Machine Tool),sold uppers you could put on a Ruger lower. They also make their version of the MK II in stainless, before Ruger did, (bought one).

Ruger ended up suing AMT and won. But their uppers (receiver + barrel and no bolt worked.

AMT lowers can also work well with Ruger uppers
