Mrs. Edwards found this with her husband's things that he had after the war. I can't find any info on this name on Google. She thinks Mr. Edwards possibly brought this back from the war too, because it was in a small box with old German and other European coins, as well as a war medal with a swatstika on it. But we have no way of knowing if it is German or not. Does anyone recognize this kind of small knife? Thanks!

Might help to open the blades and see if there is any Manufacturers name stamped on a blade.

That's a good thought. I will do that next time I am at her house taking her some groceries. She showed me the little box with the coins and when she dumped it out, I saw the knife and took a pic with my phone. I'll look at it with the blades opened when I am there next time.

After my dad died I was cleaning out some of his stuff and I found several knives similar to that one, apparently at sometime they were a popular advertising media. There were also pens, tape measures, and pocket protectors with logos for advertising.

I have one similar to it that dates to around that period I believe from my grandfather who happened to be a Mr Edwards too. One small blade and one pipe scraper blade with just sharpened tip.

IDK who made it (J.A. Henckels ?), but I think Ernst W. Hansen was a pre-WWII German author of books about industry - so the knife is most likely a commemorative special order for the knife maker, possibly for his retirement party in 1938.

If the main blade is marked, you might be able to determine the maker here (click & scroll):
