I picked up a Powers Custom free spin pawl for my Super Blackhawk, but I just can't install it.

Is there anyone in or around Austin that can install one of these, for a good price?

Mike, I think you'll find that while there's a lot of us willing to do home-brew gunsmithing on our own pieces, we wouldn't take the risk of doing so on somebody else's gun. *Maybe* for something non-critical like sights or grip panels or maybe an ejector rod issue...but an action part? Ummm...yeah, no, I don't think so :(. Not unless they're actually a pro.

I can point you towards a friend who just graduated last year from the Tishomingo college that has a two year gun program. He's already done some Ruger SA work for me. He's in Austin and since he's just getting started, you don't have to wait and prices will be good!

He's not a kid. This is just the career he hopes will take him to retirement.
