Anyone ever buy from "FastAmmo" or their sister site "AmmoAsap"?

Are they legit? Their prices seem ok, but then you see the shipping charge. Is there any place better, maybe with free shipping after a certain $$$ purchase? On AmmoSeek, FastAmmo always comes up cheapest.

The cheapest price per round on ammoseek often gets you with shipping. If you look closely you can see each company has a shipping rating 1-10, 10 being cheapest shipping or free. Lately I've had good luck with Freedom Munitions. They are always e-mailing me different specials and their cost per round/shipping ratio is reasonable.

Target Sports, SGAmmo, Wild Horse ammo.....All have good reputations, all have competitive prices, offer the occasional sale, and ship bulk orders for free. That said, one can save a bit extra by keeping an eye on each one's current pricing....sometimes to the tune of 10-cents per round.....Hope this helped.

I've ordered twice from Freedom Munitions. Satisfied both times. Once for some ammo, another for primers. I too get occasional emails.

Target Ammo is the ammo best company I have dealt with for years now. Great service, Great packaging and FAST. I get about 50 shipments per year. A 5 star Plus company. And saved a ton of money.
Purchase one box of ammo or a case at a time. Price is the same per box. The price listed is the included shipping. Pay $99.00 each year membership and that fee will be made up very quick.

SGAmmo is about the best for year 'round deals. There's better sales, etc. for those that like to hunt good deals but I use SGA is I'm buying a big order of something for a reason.

SGAmmo has some really good prices IF you're willing to meet the $200 purchase minimum(not that difficult with today's ammo prices). I usually have a 'secondary' want list to use for bumping up to the minimum.

I have also had good luck with SG Ammo for larger shipments. If you buy over $ 200.00, shipping is free. I have also had good luck with Tactical Surplus USA. It seems that they are always running specials on several types of ammo.

No, it doesn't take much to hit the $200 threshold anymore.

I just checked out the latest FinFeatherFur flyer and I can get some Blazer 9mm ammo for the range for only $11.99 box, which really isn't bad + no shipping. Long as it's in stock, that is. I'll have to head over tomorrow.

I may be aging myself a bit, but it really isn't all that long ago when I remember being able to buy 9mm ammo for like $0.07 - $0.08 per round. I really miss the good ole days.

Agree with Gasguzzler on SGA & if looking on ammoseek, always, always look at a dealers shipping rating. Fast ammo gets a 3 rating & IMO they should get a minus 10.

I've put a case of 22's in my cart & they wanted $74.95 shipping. So I started playing around with order numbers. No matter,,, $74.95 shipping no matter the quantity. Any vendor rated less than a 6 or 7 for shipping on Ammoseek isn't worth consideration IMO.

Sometimes best to go to the vendors that offer free shipping for the real price of ammo.
