I have a Savage Mark II BV (bull-barrel .22 rimfire rifle). I've used it on prairie dogs out to 150 yards - charcoal briquets or empty shotgun shells at 100 yards are not much of a challenge, either.

Sorry, but the thought of a muzzle brake on a .22 rimfire strikes me as ludicrous. Even with a standard 10/22 carbine, the recoil is nothing more than a slight twitch..... and with a good target rifle, it's even less.

I see 2 of these in the bullseye leauge, they say you gain and extra inch on the sights. It said to help get back on target faster for the 5 shots in 5 seconds timed run! I havent tried this, just what I heard!
