Or even last years 6.5 Creedmore?

I'd love to get a heavy barreled No. 1 in a 6.5. Wondering if any of them ever made it to market.

Uno: For what it's worth Ruger had offered me a 6.5 Creedmore "V" on a repair/warranty issue with another #1 in Feb of 2012. They finally called me in July and said none of the wholesalers had one in stock and THEY did not plan on building any in 2012 and that the 6.5 Creedmore "V" was NOT on the schedule through the summer of 2013. They offered me a 264 Win Mag (BH) instead (AN AH forearm at no cost due to my wooky left hand). I suspect that with the decision to make only one option a year in the "V", namely the 6.5-284 for 2013 that the Creedmore "V" is a thing of the past. I know I've been looking and sure would not pass one up at a reasonable price. I figure the the Creedmore "V" is gone from production for good. Now if they'd just get the 6.5-284 out while it's still 2013. ;-(

I was encouraged to see the 222s finally show up. Thankfully I have a couple of non prefix 222AHs so I can save that money for the 6.5s ;-)

Since the 1-A is now beginning to show up I don't feel so bad about postponing an order for one after learning of the 1:9 twist. I would still like to know anyone with experience with the tight twist with light bullets.

I have heard that the 1-V was being produced in 2013 but I have yet to see one or a 1-A for that matter. Ruger's website shows the 222 1-A with a 1:9 twist. This is the same twist as the 223 and is only suitable (IMHO) for heavier bullets. If anybody has had experience with 36 to 50 grain bullets in the 222 with a 1:9 twist - please let me know.
