Well, I got it!! A bran new Ruger Redhawk in 44Mag and with a 5 1/2" barrel. Bought it today 12/31/2023 and brought it home. Tomorrow I'll take it apart and clean/ oil it, ready for a half hour at the range. Since i also have the Super Redhawk I did compare the triggers and the Super had the smoothest trigger of any of my revolvers, just a little better that the plain Redhawk. It will be a few days till I get to the range, cant wait.

A Ruger RPR is about it, unless I come across a #1 in a flavoring that interests me.

Been on the tadar quite a while. PTR 32. Love classic HK styling. Doesnt hurt that I have few thousand rds 7.62x39. May even top it off with Thermal settip

Well, since we're revisiting this, in January I saw a Henry H001 .22 lever action at Wally World for only $326, so I picked that one up on a whim. My grandsons love it. In April I added an RSS9X from '72, in late May it was a Ruger .44 Magnum carbine from 1970, then in June I added a Winchester Canadian Centennial carbine '94 in 30-30, and a couple of weeks ago I picked up a solid used SR22. There's still four months left in the year though …

I have my eye on a Henry also...haven't seen guns at our Wally Worlds in several years, but the local Rural King has had some good sales. $299 for a Henry big Loop lever 22LR. Going to pick one up to surprise my Son who has been coming every weekend he doesn't have duty section to help out around the house/property with heavy stuff. The old man is out of commission and tagged out for awhile until the Doc's put him back together. lol

Aside from that I plan to pick up two Blackhawks in a couple weeks. A 45 Colt 4 5/8 and 357 6.5

Quoting myself...

Took almost nine months but it looks like I found a FTF cash deal on an un-fired private sale 4-5/8" Wrangler in black. Should have it Monday. Now to find some grips to save the original plastic ones.
I like these Gas. Hougue. I think they really set up the black well.

What's the problem Ordyman? Bourbon no longer working for the sour back? I hope the Doc doesn't have to field strip you to parade rest!

Get one!

In 2009 I found a S&W Model 27-2 in Cabela's Gun Room (Lacey, WA) and it looked like it had never been fired. Wooden box with green felt liner. It has counterbored cylinders and a checkered top-strap; they don't make them like that today. I bought it immediately.

I've had it now for 14 years - haven't shot it yet (!), too many other guns, but I will.

Here she is:

Well '24 was a big year for me. I had a couple big lottery wins and went a little crazy at some auctions. SP101 talo in .357
Two model 36 S&W, a shadow system MR920, XDM elite in .45, MarkII two tone Outdoor Sports exclusive. What else….. oh yeah, put a holosun 407 on my G45 and about 10k rounds of various ammo.
If I get another win I'll probably go for an AK or AR in 7.62. Maybe 5.7 Ruger
Never shot one but they appear to be wicked.

Yeah I'm shorting out somewhere again....Docs are checking the fuse box again to see where the actual issue is, newest MRI showed more narrowing/stenosis but they don't think it is the main cause, .....hoping they are not going break out the erector set again lol.....I'm going to give the Knievel family some competition for most metal in a body lol
