Any one know how Bob did???

Help Support Ruger Forum:

I just called the church and got an answer. Bob's doing okay after some complications and a second surgery for a hernia. So, all in all I'm glad to say Bob's doing fine considering.

I'm sure he will appreciate your continuing prayers.

PS: I asked him to tell Bob that the Ruger Forum was concerned and asking about him. He said he's mentioned the Forum to him several times. I believe it was the pastor who answered, but I didn't ask him.
That is amazing you did this! Thanks to you and prayers for Bob! A brother in Christ.

I just read all of the posts about Bob.....This goes to show that this Ruger Forum is so much more than a "gun forum".....Hope he continues to do well....and it sure makes one feel proud after reading everyone's concerns. God Bless him !!

Just got back and glad to hear how Bob is doing. I had half of the colon removed, appendices, and gull blades removed at the same time and with post op going south I ended up 2 months before getting home. You do not come back as strong no matter how hard you try once over 60.

Thank you for checking on him via phone.

Getting old is serious business. Even if you exercise and eat right, don't smoke or drink, there is no guarantee that life after 50 is going to be great.
The old joke:

Man goes to the doctor and says, do you think I'm in good enough health to live to be a hundred?
Doctor says well, do you drink?
Patient says, no.
Doctor says well, do you smoke?
Patient says, no.
Doctor says well, do you gamble?
Patient says, no.
Doctor says well, do you chase women?
Patient says, no.
Doctor says well, why in the world do you want to live to be a hundred?
