My first duty backup and off duty carry was my 2 3/4" SS Speed Six. In those days I had to cut costs wherever I could, so it put a permanent dent in my right hip from being carried Mexican style and depending on rubber grips to keep it in place ABOVE my belt.

Even after switching to autos it remained my off duty for quite a few years although it did eventually migrate to a leather holster.

I still have it. Plan to keep that one as I sell off a lot of other things in retirement. One of my boys or grandkids will get it.

I changed the grips and put a factory bobbed hammer on it, and did nothing else other than shoot the crap out of it for the last 45 or so years.

An old friend.

Some beautiful revolvers ! The handguns in my " collection " are mostly single action . Always preferred them to semis. I grew up watching Roy Rogers and think that may have something to do with it.😊
