A couple of pics of a nice 2 3/4" Security Six I picked up at the Hoover, Alabama gunshow awhile back. Tyler T-grip courtesy of T. A. Workman here on the forum (thanks!). Looks very business-like, doesn't it? Now for an appropriate holster. I'm liking this so much I'm thinking about ordering a matching belt, holster, and 6-round cartridge slide from El Paso Saddlery. Maybe floral carved? Maybe add some nice exotic wood grips, smooth, that still work with the Tyler? Choices, choices...

Yes sir … lots of double action love here. Posted a link that's going on now in Revolver Section!

And yeah, the Tyler T Grips are a perfect fit for these guns.
Another great thing about that #8 Tyler is it fits all Six Series, both square and round butt plus the Redhawk!

The Security Six is the one that got me hooked on Ruger. Early 70's.
The ability to field strip a revolver with no tools other than a penny or dime.
I was fascinated. I had owned a MK 1 and that was a challenge to reassemble.
Later I had one in stainless marked "Made in the 200th year of American Liberty"
It was stollen.
