Another new guy here from VA.

Retired south of Winchester (great name) and mostly punch .22 groups from a bench. Have a couple of Ruger rifles but the tiny groups come from a 75 year old Remington.

I've been carrying concealed for 51 years now and as a geezer keep going lighter and smaller. Which finally brought me to the LCP max and here to read up on keeping it to a high level of dependability. Having a true deep conceal is nice but I'm just starting to do ammo tests looking for what gives zero FTF. I hope the LCP will cooperate. I've been to both Sig and Glock armorers school so know how that can go.

When somebody refers to a LGS this way I have to assume you mean Clark Brothers on Hwy. 17 in Warrenton. It's just under 45 minutes from me. If they don't have it, or can't get it, you don't need it.

Big city mayor's and governors from blue states consider Clark Brothers the enemy. I love the place.

It's been very dry. Up until this past weekend I could have walked across the main branch of the Shenandoah River just north of Front Royal and only have gotten my ankles wet. They closed Shenandoah National Park to fishing about a month ago.

I got involved in creating a gun range in the GWNF but left before it was built. Used to trout fish a lot at Passage Creek, Stony, etc. Floated the Shen. River many times. Such memories!
