Dern if I'm not full of crappy local news.
It was bad enough to have a friend's daughter accidentally shoot & kill herself on Christmas Day,, and him being retired LEO. Now,, we have had another bad accident.
Night before last, (Monday night) a NC State Trooper pulled someone. He'd radioed for assistance. As the Trooper was with the driver, outside their vehicles,, Another Trooper approached the scene. That Trooper lost control of his vehicle,, crashed into the first Trooper AND the driver,, killing them both. The second trooper was slightly injured.
This happened about 20 miles away from me.
I knew both Troopers a little. (Not as close as I am to the retired LEO.)
The Troopers were brothers. Little brother accidentally killed his big brother, and another person.
The accident is still under investigation.
