Bought it at a auction today. Was plaining on flipping it and making some money but know its starting to grow on me.
I got the buying part down but I can never figure out the selling part.
Any how going by the serial number it was made 1949. Still has the tag on the trigger guard by the looks most likley never fired.

Is it 12, 16 or 20ga.? It could be a re-production hang tag. I paid $275 for my 1968 vintage 20ga. You have a very nice vintage Ithaca for that price either way though, original hang tag or repro.

its a 16 gauge if its a repo tag the did a good job aging it I am by no means a expert. I know i am happy with it I did not even think there would any guns at the auction.
