Old frame Speed Sixes are hard to find, especially with the 4" barrel. Here is a .38 Special of that type (model SS-84).

Not a mint condition gun, it has seen some use. But it'll do until a nicer one comes along. :D

Some of you may have seen this for sale online recently as a "non-functional gun" due to the cylinder not latching closed. Turned out to be the "Cylinder Center Lock Pin" (p/n E-53, 25¢ in the old manual) which is the plunger in the center of the extractor star that locks into the frame (the thing that cuts the arc in the bluing of the breech face after the cylinder is opened and closed a few times). It was bent and bound up inside the extractor. I happened to have had a spare in my parts horde but the old one probably could have been peened back straight in a pinch.
