Anybody know when Ruger decided to replace the medallion in the bottom of the clip of their .22 auto pistols from a regular grip type medallion to a black plastic "Sturmless" eagle logo?

Here's what I found at this weekend's DSM gun show.
270-36987 metal red background medallion.
270-47634 black plastic medallion.
229-61815 metal red background medallion.
229-68405 black plastic medallion.
Would like to hear from anybody on these as I think these sn ranges can be narrowed considerably.
Looks like Ruger made this change within the last year or so.
Here's a small update. Still waiting for more to reply though. I know some of you can help out on this.
270-36987 metal red background medallion.
270-46919 black plastic medallion.
229-61825 metal red background medallion.
229-68405 black plastic medallion.
Now I'm wondering if the 22/45 grip frame autos changed their eagle logo on the bottom also. They've always been plastic, probably molded right with the magazine bottom, but are they "Sturmless" now also??
