I know springs & magazines can be found for the old P-series guns. I find myself wondering where he got a "brand new slide" from. I thought Ruger no longer supported them.

An old saying; "Anything can be fixed or rebuilt with enough money & time."

I see them rebuilt antique autos & such by hand fabricating body panels etc all the time. So,, yes,, it can be done. New, Old Stock parts can be had. I have a bunch of such stuff for Rugers.

And yes,, I too remember the 10/22 mentioned above.
