I must be on a P-series streak. In the past few months I've come across a P89, a P90, and now a P95; all in great shape and at prices simply too good to turn down. It's my opinion these rugged, trouble free guns are under-appreciated. They are solid additions to my armory. Particularly happy to find the P-95 since I've had my eye out for a nice one.

You got the later version with the rail, textured frame and slimmed controls which are my personal favorite. Is it a saftey model or DC only? Nice pistols either way!

I have one with the rail and one w/o. The one w/o was carried for years until I took a job that required a smaller profile handgun. It now resides in an under cabinet holster within reach of my computer chair.

I have said for many years that the P series Rugers are the most underrated pistols every built. I have owned several, and never, ever had one jam.

Very clean example. Congrats!

Can never be too many posts about the P-guns, of course I'm a P-nut so there is that.

Keep the P-guns alive!!

Not being negative but I do now have two issues with the Ruger P series pistols after moving over to Sig P's .... one is the location of the de-cock lever.... up high on the slide as compared to down on the frame... the other is the need to keep that eject lever down in the grip pulled down when putting the slide back on or bad things can happen.... that you need to know the secret of how to fix or you got a locked up gun.

But like I've said here before... actually now that I think about it, it was many years ago... one of the main reasons Ruger moved over to the striker fired pistols was they could not improve on the P95 anymore.... kind. of like a 1970's Sears Kenmore washing machine or dryer... will run forever..... we had them for over 30 years and only changed a belt on the dryer once. Now they got to put computers in the dern things to make them mo-better.

I have my Dad's P-38 and his other P-38.
Can opener and German pistol....

Different kind of P-nut entirely.

Go to eBay and buy all the spare parts you want for next to nothing. For some reason peeps are selling parts for the 95 for dirt cheap. Grab while you can. I did.
