Ammo sales jump 20-fold since yesterday...

FWIW, the outfit that I buy most of my ammo from tells me that their sales have increased by a factor of 20X since yesterday....Can't say that I'm surprised, and far as that goes, wouldn't be too surprised to see prices start to increase if it keeps up.

Last time I did that was after the shooting in Orlando at that gay night club and I thought I was down to about a hundred rounds of 9mm and so I ordered a thousand rounds from Georgia Arms... when I went to put the box of ammo in my ammo cabinet I moved some stuff and there was a ammo can with another thousand rounds in it.

I fI need 500 or 600 more rounds I will go out to the garage a whip up a few hundred. Got bores during th elockdown and loaded about 6000 rounds of handgun rifle and shotgun rounds.

You are correct about my source...Interesting how fast things can change. He was having a big sales event less than two weeks ago.

To my way of thinking.....If a guy had 100, bought 1000, then found an additional 1000, that means he'd still only have 100 available for shooting...LOL.

People are funny. How much ammo is enough? There is no answer. 1 bullet might be enough. A million rounds might NOT be enough.
It depends on too many factors. I buy what I want and what I can afford. I won't ever panic buy.

I don't have any plans or wants to use the thousands of rounds I have..... one of the reasons I buy in bulk from Georgia Arms is it comes in a nice 30 caliber ammo can loose and this is much easier to let folks share when doing some group shooting like at the East Coast Gathering. ...... hint, hint.

My ammo prices have not gone up. Have been stock piling for years. I do reload but really not interested any more. I buy in bulk, and individual boxes with same shipping cost.

SGA has a history of panic peddling and raising prices accordingly. I like them and have ordered from them in the past. But Sam will use any/every "event" to stir panic.

why would anyone post on this website the cases and cases of ammo????????????? they could find you and you would have a real problem ....................they could do nothing for two weeks and all of a sudden you have unwanted guests with a hand truck and a shotgun or bat helping themselves to your inventory...you're not going to do yourself any good hiding behind boxes of ammo and you're ego is over-riding the logic of showing the world what you have...........................

LOL...Oh yeah, "they" could show up any moment and kill me for my ammo. Or I suppose they might even come for the Spam and canned hash that I keep on hand for emergencies......And for over 50 years folks has been telling me that carrying cash will get me robbed, and I shouldn't answer the phone if I don't know who is calling....and on and on it goes....and apparently still is today....Well please forgive me, I just don't choose to live in fear like a lot of folks do....Oh, and BTW, it's "your ego", not "you're ego"....LOL....You are welcome.
