Several years ago when I was an FFL Davidsons sent me a 1990 catalogue which featured New model stainless .45 LC /.45 ACP Cylinders. The 1990 run featured a 7 1/2 " bbl denominated KBN 45X; the second featured a 4 5/8" bbl denominated as KBN 44X.
The following year Ruger produced a Stainless .45/.45 convertible with a 5 1/2 " bbl.
I have two NIB sitting in the safe. Unfired.
What are the production numbers and the present day values of each model? Opinions please.
My research reveals that only 53 to 77 of the KBN 455X were ever produced.
I stumbled across a KBN 45X some years later built with factory spare parts.
Any info would be of help.
Considering selling my two or trading them For some of the newer stuff.

I could be wrong but am thinking that Ruger ran off a bunch more of those after that initial 77.

Searching GunBroker auctions generally gives a good price estimate. Sign in and search Completed Auctions.
