I ran across this accessory in a post this week and it got me looking. I have the Mini 30 , black stock with the SS barrel. I've read up on the claims of the Accu-strut, and am just fishing for a review from those that have it. Worth the $100?

According to the manufacturer, it's effectiveness relative to improving accuracy diminishes as the barrel gets shorter and/or fatter. In other words, it works best on the older, skinny barreled versions compared to when used on the newer, tapered barreled versions. As for using their short, single-clamp "tactical model" offering, I wouldn't even bother.

If you read their website, the manufacturer is essentualy saying just what I said....meaning that the answer to your question is...it depends.

Hope this helped.

Yep, that's what I got out of it too. My Mini 30 is only about 18 months old, so I think I am good.....

If yours is a newer Mini-30, tapered barrel, you will get far better results by reducing the size of the gas bushing and installing a 1911 recoil buffer.
