FWIW, I've had quite a few Old Model Rugers Factory Fitted with their "conversion kit". Great source for some useable spare parts......... 
I've used their "refinish" services and have been satisfied with the relatively inexpensive work.
It looks pretty good, no? It's my shooter and I wouldn't trade it...........
