The factory hammer works just fine for me. I bought a rusty and worn MK II at a gun show. My upgrade was Duracoat.

Dec 10, 2009 #4 C croscoe Bearcat Joined Jun 8, 2009 Messages 17 Installing the Volquartsen Trigger/Sear (kept the stock hammer) and adding Hogue grips made a huge difference in my Mk III. Also added the VQ extractor and have had no FTE since. Nothing like taking an already great gun and making it even better.
