My daughter and I met a good friend at the range today and we did a little plinking.

Lauren shot my Marlin 39M .22 -

She also fired her 1967 Colt Bat Masterson Commemorative Frontier Scout .22 -

She shot my AWA Peacekeeper .44 Special but, unfortuneately, I don't have pic of shooting it. My daughter did fire another shooter's DPMS .22 conversion AR-15 -

...and she hit the distant steel with my friend's Ruger 10/22 which she really liked (I have one in the safe that she's fired before) -

My friend shot an ODI .45 with a Seecamp double action conversion. Pretty neat gun -

Remember I said he was a "good" friend? He brought me a holster he had no need for. It's marked "handmade by Bianchi for Ruger" on the back and fits a 4 5/8" Blackhawk. I happen to have a newly acquired Lipsey's .44 Special so it's a perfect match!

We all had a great time shooting!

Sorry, all I know about the ODI is that my friend got it in a trade deal and was going to get rid of it. But then he shot it and decided it was kinda cool. Try googling it because that's all I know....

Uh-oh, I'm in trouble with the Photobucket Police! I've exceeded my free bandwidth!

mm6mm6,

Did you know there is a fellow on Ebay selling magnets with your engraved single six photo? Looky here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEWAX:IT

Maybe it is someone you know, but if not he is hanging your piece out there for the whole world to see and making money off you in the process.

Just a heads up.......

Otony, I absolutely do not know the person, nor did I give any permission. He has 7 of my photos on Ebay right now and who knows how many more that aren't just not listed currently. It looks like all his photos are stolen off the internet.

Hmmmmm. I will have to look into this and see if there are any legal or Ebay ramifications.

Thanks for the heads up!

I couldn't see the pics last night due to your "excess." Today I get beautiful pics of your daughter & some great guns.
BTW; those grips on that 44 spl look a lot like some I just made except I don't have the tools to install medallions. I put a pair of those types of grips on my shooter Flattop 357's.

To my knowledge, it is 100% illegal to use any photo posted on the internet without the expressed written consent of the photographer.

Sue 'em, sue 'em good.

I'd tell him that you want a $10 per magnet royalty for using your original work. All work, digital or otherwise, is the exclusive property of its creator unless licensed or otherwise distributed with consideration. IANAL, but you should first politely ask this guy to remove your original art from his sales. You could offer to sell the rights for magnets to him I guess, but he's already in the wrong. You could contact ebay as well to file a complaint against him.

Great stuff mm6mm6,

Looks like you had a great .22 day. Your daughter is lucky to have such a field of .22's to choose from.

Thanks for passing the sport on. ;) Thanks for being a good dad. ;)

I "believe" a few of the shotgun pics are lifted straight from Shooting Sportsman magazine. I am willing to be they will take an extremely dim view of his "borrowing" ways so contact them if you don't get any satisaction from Ebay.........

I contacted Ebay and explained the situation. It will be interesting to see what happens with that aspect. Hopefully Ebay will handle it. I put the onto the fact that most probably all of the pics are stolen, including the car photos.

I know that when using Photobucket, anyone can view the pics or take them for their personal use. That's what it says. But this guy still can't take my images and then sell them.

Man nice ODI...I have 2 frames and 2 uppers that I have made into 45 regular governments...I scrounged around and finally found the original double action parts to convert one...just wish I could get a close up of the original innards that show the working parts together....or I would trade towards a Ruger LOL
