Went to Wall Mart today for some ammo...shelves pretty much bare...anyhow I was lucky to get a box of 50 Winchester 9mm luger 115GR. full metal jacket for $12.49 tax not included...(6% tax) Is this about what you would pay for the same in your area? They had no 38spl's, no 357mag,'s no 22lr's to speak of...not much of anything for that matter.

I was at my local Scheels tonight, and they still had all kinds of ammo including the mythical .380. Also still had 9mm 50 rd. Win FMJ's on sale for $10.99. Don't make sense to sell the 9mm 100 rd. boxes (same ammo) for $26.99 when you can save $$$ and just buy 2 of the 50's. Go figure! LM

Bought a 100 pack of Win White Box 9MM-FMJ's from my local gunshop about a month ago. They was about $28 OTD.....so I guess your $12.45 +tax for 50 sounds about right.

Hope this helps.

I have found Federal 9mm 115 FMJ at Walmart for 9.97/box of 50. I think they sell that now in place of PMC Blazzer Brass, which used to be the same price.

My local Walmarts sell Federal Champion 9mm 115 FMJ for $9.47/box of 50 and they will have the 100 round white boxes of Winchester for ~$20.50. Hit and miss on when they get them in stock, limit of 6 boxes when they do.

That's the price our WM gets for the Federals, too. The last time they had the WWB stuff, a box of 100 cost around $22. As someone else said: "Why buy boxes of 100 when 2 boxes of 50 cost less???" (And most of our pistols seem to prefer the Federal's too.)
