Well all, I finally found the ALMOST right Single six. It appears to be from '57 if I am reading the Ruger sight correctly.

It IS a shooter grade (which I wanted.) Didn't want to remove a collector's grade from the market. It does NOT have the correct internals though. Someone got it converted. I do wish that hadn't happened though. Now at some point I will need to locate a kit to unconverted it.

I have tried doing some searching, but I apparently don't have the right phrase to use so keep an eye out. Anyone have a tip on what to search for?

Thanks!

Nice gun,, and "Welcome to the Forum!"

As noted,, it's not hard to return that gun to "as shipped" with a correct set of parts. The guns are fairly easy to take apart & replace parts in.

I'll send you a PM about it.

Nice 4 5/8 inch 357 ….. one of my favorite single actions. How low is the serial number on that one?
