5" GP100 .44 Spl 1/2 lug

Curious to know about the 5" GP-100 in .44 Spl with the 1/2 lug and wood grips. It seems like the 5" full lug model is much more common (and not quite as expensive) than the 1/2 lug? Is the 1/2 lug .44 Spl GP a limited production run? I'd like to add one of these to the stable later this summer or this fall. Thanks in advance.

Can't comment other than to say I like the looks of the 1/2 lug better.

I have this model in .357. Great gun. It will still be both serviceable and viable after the apocalypse.
