5 1/2" MKIII Hunter?

Anybody know how many MKIII Hunters were made with a 5 1/2" barrel? A local dealer had three of them last summer.

I have a MKIII Hunter Target model slabside... I was told mine was an Acusport special run. I have no idea on production numbers, but I believe it is somewhere around 5000.

Mine is fluted instead of slab sided. The story I got was that it was an over run.

Davidson's exclusive is a 2245 5.5" bbl hunter in blue. I'm waiting on one.

Maybe Ruger just makes a lot of variations in 22 autos. Mine is the standard grip angle and is stainless. It did have hi-viz sights, but I ordered the sight blade and front sight and put it back old school.

I thought I collected S&Ws, but I now have 12 Ruger handguns.

I collected Rugers (or so I thought), but the old S&W and Colt revolvers kept following me home, too. I even have 1 Springfield Armory 1911.... danged if I know how that happened.
