Started out as a 357 Mag, added Bisley grip frame, Hammer & Trigger. Cylinder and 5" Barrel built by Gallagher. Oversized Base Pin, Reverse pawl, changeable front sight and new steal Ruger rear sight & an action job that is Smooth as Silk!!! Operator

thank God some of you "custom" folks crawled out of bed. :) This little beauty wasn't getting near the attention it deserves.......IMHO

I like that octagon barrel.

I'm trying to make up my mind on the specifics of my next custom job, so far I've settled on a short octagon barrel. I've had two 1911's built and am looking forward to a Revolver.

Thanks for showing the photo's.

Looks to be another super gun by John. He does fine work and often supplies his octagon barrels to other smiths for their projects. Whale of a nice guy to visit with as well.

There must be something in the water.... I have a stainless 357 sitting in Jasper to become a 5 inch 500L Bisley but with micarta grips and a Bowen rear sight... :D My Jasper 475L is a 7.5 blue octagon gun... :p
