I think you will be pleasantly surprised. It's not nearly as bad as I had thought it was going to be. It does thump, but when you see how fast the dust cloud appears at the 100 yard berm after touching it off.......... it's all worth it. ;)

Sadly, I had to sell mine off last year, but I do still own a 4" Redhawk in 45 Colt. I do miss that "little Alaskan" at times.

hey silent sam if you reload I'll send you some 340grain bullets I shoot out of my bh and srh they should be just the ticket for the bear medicine you are looking for. If Interested send me a pm.
