These did come in 4 5/8 inch barrel. Lipseys SS 4 5/8 barrel Flattop & blued standard 4 5/8 Blackhawk

They're still listed on Lipseys site. Quite a bit more than I paid for mine 14 years ago though. That is IF you can even find one in stock anywhere.

I bought a Blackhawk 45 Colt with 4 5/8" barrel a few years ago. The guy I bought it from said he bought it new and never fired it.
Does anyone know if Blackhawk Bisley was ever made with 4 5/8" barrel in 45 Colt?

I have two mid-frame flattop .45 convertibles. Mostly shoot the blued one of course, but so it goes... I like the 5 1/2" barrel length for my revolvers, but Lipsey did make a run of the shorter barrels for those that prefer them. Do have a couple of large frames as well, but they rarely get out... now that I have the 'perfect' size revolver for my .45 Colt shooting needs. The smaller 'Colt' like grip frame fits my hands perfectly.
