45 Colt Blackhawk

Picked up a Blackhawk 45 Colt S/S model with 7 1/2" barrel this morning. Few marks here and there, nothing to bad for a shooter. best part is the price, $250.00. I didn't think that was too bad. S/N 47-571XX No box or paperwork. Factory grips though. There is a spot on the barrel which looks like it was rust that was cleaned off. I will try to get pics up soon. Always a good day when a new (to me) gun comes home. PICS ADDED

Funny about a SS barrel rusting. I had a model 77 in stainless that rusted while it was sitting in a heated safe. The blued guns and revolvers were all fine. Fortunately the rust was only a surface film and basically wiped off with a oil soaked dish scrubber thingy. :?

I was shaking at the LGS yesterday because they have a 4&5/8ths NM Blackhawk .45 for $350 and I thought "what a good deal"

Here are the pics, not very good but I am learning! By the way that's a real Florida wild hog tooth in the trigger guard.
