Nope. .44 Spl New Vaqueros were all blue or stainless. If you see one with case colors it's not factory. There are Original Vaqueros in .44 mag that are blue and case colored. The .44 Spl's are great guns in an outstanding caliber.

What ^^ he said. Also no 5.5" just 3.75" Sheriff and 4-5/8". I have one of each - stellar pieces, stainless and blued respectively. I too would like to see a 5.5 as well as Ruger take another (better) crack at the "CCH." Failing that, I plan on having the blued 4-5/8" done by Harton's guy or Turnbull etc. The fixed sight blued NVs in particular seem to "need" the coloring IMO.
 
Thanks for the replies gentlemen ;) they needs to make one in 44 special but it looks easy enough to do with a blued one to make it proper :)
 
Ruger take another (better) crack at the "CCH.
Agree it would be nice if Ruger would 'work on' a good case coloring process. It beats a plain blued revolver any day. I do like my original Vaquero even with the old process.
