Figured I would post my next attempt at a custom. Figured everyone has the specials so I would ream one in .44 Russian. Never had used a manson reamer before but they are great. Thanks to Cary for the grips first I have gotten from him. Won't be the last. Got a little creative on the hammer(too much I think).

Regards
Matt

Matt, I like where you went with that hammer. It reminds me of a Seville hammer. yeah, my taste thinks the spur might be a bit "long" but I like the lines and the thin appearance. With the hammer in that position, the contour looks like it matches the backstrap of the grip frame. I really like that touch.

would you minde telling us a bit more about how you made that hammer?

Very nice package

Gun was a .357 originally. Wanted to maintain the original barrel so had it rebored. Then soldered on a factory tall sight and milled to match point of aim. Hammer was cut to a sliver and then welded a milled mild steel piece around. Welding didn't turn out so well so had to silver solder in on the bottom. Feels fantastic have to practice a bit more for the overall asthetics. Located near Winston Salem.

Very nice looking!! What finifh do you have on the barrel and cylinder? From the pics it looks to be a brown at least on the barrel.
