44 carbine value

I have a Ruger 44 mag carbine. serial number 7726. I would say 90% condition. What is something like this worth? I read through older posts but most were related to the newer carbines.

Welcome to the forum from another south Louisiana member. I don't follow the 44 carbines much, but in that condition I would guess $450-$550. I might be too low.Some more knowledgable members will be along shortly to give a better value.

The value jumps quite a bit if it has a "Ruger Deerstalker" rollmark, but I believe those had a lower serial number range than what you have listed.

Thanks for the welcome JCW. "Deerstalker" is great description for this gun. I wish I had more use for it.
