I just picked up a nice 44 carbine, with the 102 prefix, at a gunshow this weekend. I'm really happy with it, but it has the strangest trigger I've ever found on a civilian firearm. It's like a 2-stage miliatry trigger; you pull a lot to take up the slack, and there's a little creep, and then the trigger breaks. Is this typical? Can it be improved with a trigger job? Thanks.
