Would someone be so kind as to post a picture or two of a 44 Carbine sporter that is checkered so I can see what the checkering pattern is particularly on the forend ?

Sorry this is the only pictures I have of the factory checkered 44's. The 44 is checkered just like the 10/22.

Ruger 66 Thank you for posting the picture. Also seems like it's hard to get a sporter or international to letter as factory checkered because of some records being lost due to a flood.

Not all of them come back as "44XC" or "44SPC" though either....instead being lettered as "44X Hand-checkered" or ".44SP "Hand checkered".
