I have an old 44 Carbine that I have taken down and cleaned completely.
I have had the gas port checked out and it is clean.
It does have a cracked stock up on the forearm.
2 questions
1. It won't cycle the next round into the chamber... matter of fact it won't cycle the old round out. Why? I have tried 3 different ammo in it and no luck.
2. Could it be from the cracked stock? The crack is not a huge gaping crack. You have to look to find it. But could the gun loose some if it's rigidity from the crack and not help the gun cycle?
Thanks
Enno
