I have recently started collecting P Series pistols and just won a Gunbroker auction for a P944. Unfortunately it appears that factory magazines are non existent for this gun. Anyone know where I can get some? Ruger's item number is 90089.

Literally the only mags I can find are ProMag and I won't touch them with a 10 foot pole. There aren't even used magazines for sale on ebay or gunbroker.

Thanks for reminding me. I need a couple of extra mags for when I go shooting with my H&K P30L. Don't have to reload them standing in the hot desert sun. It is a .40 cal. Bought it in Aug 2014. Only took me over a year and a half after the shortage of early 2013 when everyone said there will always be 9mm on the shelves. Seemed like everything was gone except .40 cal. guns and ammo. Finally decided on the H&K and no, I did not realize that it was used by Keeanu in the first John Wick movie. It is a great gun.

I bought 6 OEM or so during the crime bill era, J&G sold the originals but they were modified on the magazine catch slot and will not work anymore on the .40 caliber. Modified with the notch made bigger they worked great on my P series 9mm's, held more than 10 rounds but no longer work on the .40's.
Gun Mag warehouse shoes them in stock for $21.99, Mec-Gar brand. good luck

P94 was chambered in either .40 or 9mm. They are referring to the 9mm. I'm not even sure Mec Gar makes .40 magazines. They're not on Mec Gar's website.

I just saw one sell for over $50 on GunBroker, and was wondering why it got bid up so high. I think I've got a few spare factory P91/P94 40 cal mags, if you or @hittman might be interested - let me look through my mag boxes in the basement and see if they're still there.

EDIT - Looks like I've got 10 spare factory 11-rd 'ban era' (marked govt/LEO use only) P91/P94 40 caliber mags: 2 with the factory orange stickers (that might be new, or close to), 1 with most of the sticker gone & part remaining, and 7 used mags (probably all LEO surplus). If there's interest, I'm guessing the rules might suggest that I list them for sale in the classified forum?

I'm definitely interested in some or all of them depending on price! I'm new to the forum and don't want to run foul of any board rules, though. Off to do some reading...
