Happened to glance out the front window about 20 minutes ago, and here's what I saw. There were actually 5 turkeys, but one was lagging behind.

I see the deer and the turkeys but it is the leach line of the septic system that I saw first! :D But that is what happens when you own a septic service company!

Sorry, but that's not a leach line. It's a row of daffodils starting to come up. Our septic is on the other end of the house. :)

Gunny,
You are making me sad that we sold our place up in Madison County, Texas.

This is our side yard at the Cape Cod house. This only a few of what was there that day, and legally I cannot hunt them.

Mike,
Beautiful birds. Many think that the Turkey should have been the national bird.
Rather than the bald eagle. Despite the fact that the eagle is a carrion eater, I
still get a lump in my throat when I see it depicted on our national emblems.
I am good with the eagle.

Robb,
Don't jump to conclusions. Septic systems nowadays do not have "leach lines".

Maybe not in Texas but since drip dispersal is not legal in Oregon they still have leach lines. The material in the ditches has changed but they still stick out like green thumbs every summer. Even the ATT, Alternative Treatment Technology, systems we approve on the DEQ Technical Review committee all have leach lines here.
