.380/9MM Mak

Picked up about 50 9MM Mak cases at the range today thinking they were .380's. Anybody know any reason they can't be trimmed to .380 length? They look hte same except for length and I'm shirt on .380's for reloading.

Won't work. The Makharov case is too wide to cycle reliably in a .380, even if you trim it shorter.

Pal Val is right. .380 is 9mm, 9mm Makarov is actually 9.2mm, IIRC. It is bigger anyway.
