There are now several versions of the .327 Fed'l Mag. now available. Why is there no ammunition or for that matter Brass-and reloading components specific to the .327 mag.I have looked everywhere for the ammunition and the brass cases and cannot find anyone who has any.327 ammunition or the.327 brass to reload the round

I've never had any luck finding any brass or ammunition. Federal/Speer is the only manufacturer right now and I guess they have other priorities.

I have heard that Freedom Arms has brass available, you might check with them.

My dealer now has the ammunition in stock. He's getting it regularly but has always been a high volume dealer so I guess he gets first priority. You have to look in the on-line yellow pages for gun shops in large cities. Call them via cell phone and ask if they have it. If they do, have them ship you some. I often search for guns this way and do it from my livingroom. It beats the hell out of driving.

Join the crowd the ammo and components availability as of late sucks for all ammo. I buy from about 4 suppliers and it's hard to round up enough stuff to reload for just about anything now. The components are beginning to trickle in a little now and it's getting easier to find stuff luckily I had a fairly good supply stocked up when the components dried up. I will build it back up over time and get ahead of this problem with ammo in the future.

My favorite dealer has 4 cases (800 rds) of 85 gr Hydra Shoks at 21.95 a box. Another dealer near me has the boxes of Federal AE 100 gr SP's at $30.00 a box for 50 & the Speer Gold Dot box of 20 for $26. Lately I have seen & purchased the Speer component 115 gr Gold Dot bullet online. I love the caliber myself, but it is not very popular around here. I bought the last box of 327 ammo from another dealer here & asked about re-supply. He told me he doesn't sell enough to make it worth his while to order any more.

I buy the Rainier (sp) bulk bullet in 32 caliber. Since it has no cannelure I load it to the length of my particular cylinder and give it a good crimp. It gives quite good accuracy and power. I also have a bunch of XTP's and while they are accurate they intrude into my powder capicity. They need a second crimp groove if you ask me.

Components are in short supply for everything, it's not exclusive to the .327 and shouldn't be used as an excuse. Still, Midway has several different cast bullets available plus the new 115gr Speer Gold Dot. Brass is available from Freedom Arms or just buy a couple boxes of factory ammo and use the brass. You guys are running out of excuses.

I will call Freedom Arm's when I have cash in hand. I was looking for some of the 50 rd boxes, and couldn't find any. So I got a different project, that I have most of the components for.

Bought a 327 Blackhawk and immediately ordered 500 pieces of brass from FA.... Should have been here last week. Danged weather has the USPS running slow... Ordered a 4 cavity mold for a 130 FNPB and 130 FNGC bullet mold from LBT... Powder and primers are not an issue... Life and the 32 bore party are running full blast at my house... Have I missed anything? :D

Snowed all AM here but it is already gone... No doubt in my mind that 2 Dawgs' buddies at the Atlanta USPS distribution center are holding my gun AND my brass waiting on snow to melt. Then we have a holiday to deal with .......

If you want to shoot the 327Fed- Try some 32 S&W Long easier to find or 32 H&R Mags
Here is a link :
http://georgia-arms.com/32handrmag.aspx
This is not a cheap caliber to shoot for the handloader or non hand loader.
I shot my sp101 with 32 S&W Long yesterday- Very enjoyable.
I am training a gal to shoot something more than her Mark III.
A S&W 637 is too much for her yet. To be honest I did not care for it that much either.

Looks like they have 32 Smith but H&R is "Out of stock due to component shortage..."

I'm always on the lookout for .32 H&R Mag brass, let me know what you have and what you want for it if you decide you want to sell it.

You guys need to go to Starline and put in an order for your 32 mag brass... I'd like to think that the more demand they have the quicker they will get some made...
Keep whining about wanting Starline 327 brass too... There is a lot of truth the the Old... The squeaky wheel gets the grease (or brass in this case)
