A Buddy of mine has a .32 H&R Single Six that he wants to sell ... my question is ... can the cylinder be honed to chamber the .327 magnum and will the gun handle the pressures?

Thanks!!!

You'd have to have a longer cylinder fitted to the gun. Bowen Classic Arms, Alan Harton, etc, all offer conversions from 32 H&R mag to 327 Federal on the Single Six.

The SP101 in 32 H&R can be converted to 327 Federal simply by reaming out the cylinder.

like dougader stated........a longer cylinder will need to be fitted. The 327 is too long for the factory 32 H&R cylinder.

The dimensions of the cylinder window are fine. It doesn't need to be opened up in any direction.
