$300 is the rack price on new 10-22's??

Mine was about $320 + tax. That's the going rate on a base model 10/22 here in PA. Breakdown models and stainless are $450+. Compared with the pricing levels of the 10/22 a pcc 9 seems like a deal as the base model costs about the same as a comparable 10/22. The breakdown feature and threaded barrel are major price upgrades in the 10/22 lineup.

I saw one here today …. Basic birch stock and blued ….. $305 plus tax, brand new.

Maybe I'll go back and check on that 'looked like new' used 10-22 priced @ $269 and try to get him to knock it down a bit. It's not like I don't have a spare but one never has too many 10-22's.
