Wow no1's in 300 H&H!
the 300 H&H is a long time favorite of mine. Hand loaded it gives up nothing to the "new 300"s" that are in such abundance these days. I hope Winchester starts selling new brass for it again, but I fear they won't. The 300 H&H was the cartridge to beat in 1,000 yd shooting from 1925 or so up till 1964, as I think this was the last year it won at Camp Perry. This cartridge preforms well with most all weights of .30 bullets, even the lighter weights. Not the newest by far, it is the original 300 mag that got the "craze" started. Great old girl I like very much. Nice to see some one chambering it again.
Best regards, Kirk
