Oh boy, Oh boy, Oh boy. Got an Old Model Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum today. Picked it up off of Armslist.com for $500. It's in excellent but used condition and the SN shows that it was made in 1966. Been looking for a good one for quite a while. Probably my all time favorite gun.

Mag-force,, all ya have to do is save the pennies,,,! :D
Seriously,, set aside a jar or something & put your spare change daily into it. Do not touch it unless your family needs food or other such necessities. You can enhance the fund by re-directing your thoughts & cash too. When you are out & about,, wanting a pack of smokes, or a soda, or a fast food burger,,, look at alternatives & purchase gum instead of smokes, put the difference in the jug. Or instead of a soda, take water with you & put the soda money in the jug. At the fast food joint, use a coupon or buy the smaller size & put the difference in the jug. I did this about 30 or so years ago to start my gun funds. (I never smoked,,, but you get the idea.)
Good shooter OM 3 screw 44's can be had quicker than you think!

Contender haven't been on forum lately, but i will keep that in mind all to get a nice 3 screw. 1 will come my way. thanks

Maybe its just an illusion, but does that gun have small serial numbers??
Also, can you send me a PM on the full serial number? Being 1966 production, it may be close to one of the 600 6-1/2" Supers that were made during that year.
